FIRST STEPS' CREED TO YOU:

We will be accessible.

The spirit of our service is engrained with an immense desire
and spirit of reconciliation. We not only aggressively
seek to know the ministry of addiction, we come to know
the person. We will seek to be accessible as we are seasoned
in this ministry.

We will be non-judgmental.

It is an extreme honor that we have finally recognized the
power and authority given to us by God to be an intricate
part in the healing process for His people. We therefore
proceed with an open mind and will at all times be nonjudgmental
as you share.

We will be sincere.

Sincere, personable, and never condescending. We realize
that when people recognize you as a peer as opposed to
power, they become willing to share more as we seek to
serve them.

We will be honest.

We realize that each of you have unique and individual life
experiences. We are willing to share first.

We will be committed.

Many people and ministries began this work without counting
the cost. There are both physical and financial capital.
